будущее время:

2.i shall be your new teacher,    также можно  i will be your new teacher.

the positive character/hero

the positive character (hero) is always good, because he's always a positive role model for young children. especially in russian literature, the positive character (hero) always sets the examples for reader's behavior. the good always wins over bad (evil).
