i asked my mum if she would let me stay at sally’s house that night. she said i wouldn’t ( или she refused). i wondered why i wouldn’t. she said that the previous time i had stayed there, i had stayed up late and that i had been too tired to go to school the following day. i agreed или i said that was true but we wouldn’t do that again. she said that we had been both smoking cigarettes. i said that was not true and added i had never smoked in my life. she agreed and added that that i could go but only if i promised to behave.
