As Ivan Ivanov was fishing he suddenly became ill and fell off the deck into the river. Hunter saw that his owner was in great danger and had to act quickly, before it was too late.
The clever dog ran up to the car where Vanya's friend, Vasya was asleep. Hunter barked and scratched the man's car door furiously until he woke up. Vasya then saw what had happened and called the emergency services.
Vanya was fine after a couple of days recovering in hospital. He was full of praise for Hunter as well, “I owe my life to Hunter. He truly is my best friend”, he said.

Умная собака побежала к машине, где спал друг Ивана, Вася. Хантер лаял и скребся в дверь машины очень рьяно, пока он не встал. Вася затем увидел, что случилось, и вызвал команду спасателей.
Ваня был в порядке через пару дней восстановления в больнице. Он очень хвалил Хантера. «Я обязан жизнью Хантеру. Он действительно мой лучший друг» - говорит он.
