I. Hello and welcome to the show! Today we’re talking about Ivan Kupala night. We celebrate it on the 6th of July. Ivan Kupala was a god of water in old/pagan/ Russia. On Ivan Kupala night, people bath in a river or a lake and pour water on each other. People also light big fires, sing songs, dance and jump over the fire. The legend says that anyone who jumps the highest will become happy. Everyone has a lovely time!

II. Hello and welcome to the show! Today we’re talking about Bonfire Night, a very important celebration in Britain. On Bonfire Night, people light big fires and set off fireworks. Bonfire Night is always on the 5th of November. It is sometimes called Guy Fawke’s Night. Of course, British people love food! They eat baked potatoes and toffee apples on Bonfire Night and everyone has a lovely time.
