Thanks for your letter, it was so nice to hear from you,
I believe that Russia is a welfare state. We have different laws and programmes in defence of people who are in need. I think that there is nothing special about the way the system of social service works in Russia. In our country people get different benefits, for example, in my family my grandparents are entitled to recieve retirement pension. As for my parents, I have only mum, so she gets financial help because she is widowed. All people who are entitled to benefits receive them.
Unfortunately, there are some disadvatages in the system. Sometimes money come too late and, also, most often it is not enough on living.

Я считаю, что Россия - государство всеобщего благоденствия. У нас есть разные законы и программы в защиту людей, которые в ней нуждаются. Я думаю, что нет ничего особенного в том, как работает система социального обслуживания в России. В нашей стране люди получают разные льготы, например, в моей семье мои бабушка и дедушка имеют право на пенсию по старости. Что касается моих родителей, у меня только мама, поэтому она получает финансовую помощь, потому что она овдовевшая. Все люди, которые имеют право на получение пособий, получают их.
К сожалению, в системе есть некоторые недостатки. Иногда деньги приходят слишком поздно, и, также, чаще всего этого мало на жизнь.
