Alligator
The alligator lives in places like rivers, marshes and swamps.
You can find them in the southern states of Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Georgia.
They eat almost anything and swallow it whole. They are very dangerous because they hide in the water without moving. Their prey often doesn't see them until the alligator jumps out of the water, snatches them, and drags them under. You should keep away from the edge of a lake or other water. Also don't make the mistake of feeding them!
