Hi, dear Patric! Many thanks for your last letter! Great to hear that you have been in Paris for three month. I thought that you might be interested to hear about my last visit to Canada. It was breathtaking, just incredible!! To be honest, I never visited any country before that one. And my first experience was so exciting. I never even saw so beautiful and wonderful places. My mum and dad also was thankful to themselves, just cause they decided to spend summer holidays in Canada. We saved money really hard, but we did it! It’s time to finish I think. kazakhstan is our motherland. kazakhstan is an independent republic in the commonwealth of independent states. it is second to russia in its territory. kazakhstan borders on russia in the north, on mongolia - in the east, on china - in the south - east. it borders on kyrgyzstan and uzbekistan in the south. it is washed by the caspian sea in the west.astana is the capital of kazakhstan. it is situated in the north of the country. it's now a big industrial, cultural, scientific and administrative centre of the republic. kazakhstan has the population of about 14 million people. more than a hundred nationalities live there. there are a lot of rivers and lakes in kazakhstan. the largest lake is balkhash. people go fishing there. in the north-west there is the aral sea, it is becoming dead because of the poisoned environment.kazakhstan is rich in national resources such as coal, iron, oil, different coloured metals. kazakhstan is a great agricultural region. there are such big industrial centres in kazakhstan as almaty, karaganda, pavlodar, pelropavlovsk, taraz and others. a lot of people of different nationalities live in kazakhstan in a friendly family. our motto is "peace and friendship".
