, We all know we waste lots of energy at home and we should cut down. But the fact is most homes are 1___energy-efficient enough. They use 2a lot of energy just to keep them warm in winter and cool in summer, and this is without the lighting and modern electrical appliances we love.
Now, more and more people are looking 3an eco-home: a home you can live in all year round, but which doesn’t use a lot of energy or damage the environment. Houses like this can have so 4solar panels on their roofs that they can generate their own electricity. In fact, the panels can generate so 5electricity that owners are able to sell 6to big electricity suppliers.
Buying an eco-home may not be quite enough 7 completely protect the environment, but it’s a start. They’re also 8cheap to live in that owners have more money to spend on other things!
