In russia, with  the introduction of christianity,  believed  calendar  or  march, or  from the date of  easter.  in 1492  grand duke  ivan iii  decided that the  beginning of the year  on september 1.  by the way,  until  1700  russia  was of  the year, "from the creation ofthe world."  but it  only lasted  for a while.  russia  began to  establish relations  with europe  and  a  "temporary  confusion"  is  prevented.  in  7207, the  (creation of the world, of course), peter i  put an end to  all the  inconveniences of  the calendar.  he  changed the  calendar, and a way  of celebrating  the new year, citing the  "advanced"europeans.  in the  decree  issued by  them  saying that  from now on  new year  should be celebrated  on january 1,  and the next  new year  will  be  1700  after christ.
