Reading text: A message to a new friend
Hi Lucia
How are you? It was so nice to meet you last week in Sydney at the sales meeting. How was
the rest of your trip? Did you see any kangaroos? I hope you got home to Mexico City OK.
Anyway, I have the documents about the new Berlin offices. We’re going to be open in three
months. I moved here from London just last week. They are very nice offices, and the location
is perfect. There are lots of restaurants, cafés and banks in the area. There’s also public
transport; we are next to an U-Bahn (that is the name for the metro here). Maybe you can
come and see them one day? I would love to show you Berlin, especially in the winter. You
said you have never seen snow – you will see lots here!
Here’s a photo of you and me at the restaurant in Sydney. That was a very fun night!
Remember the singing Englishman? Crazy! Please send me any other photos you have of that
night. Good memories.

      i need a part-time job to earn some money, i have read some  advertisements, and i  decided  to chose a  baby-sitter  job. 

      first of all i like kids so much. i can play with the all day. i  always  wanted to have a lot of  younger brothers and sisters.

          second - the family offers a good money for this job. that is important for me too.

at last, but not at least they sad, that they would take me to the cruise with them this summer, so i could help them with their kids there. what could be better then that?

1)there is .the.. thick red carpet in my room. .the. carpet is on .the.. floor in front of ..the. sofa. 2)where is .the.. table in your brother's room? -his table is near .the.. window. 3)i can see ..a. fine vase on .the.. shelf. is it your vase? 4)we have no .a.. piano in our living-room. 5)my uncle is maried. he has ..a. beautiful wife. they have ..a. son, but they have no ..a. daughter. 6)i can see ..a. nice coffee-table in middle of room to ..the. right of .the.. door. it is black and red. i like ..the. coffee-table. 7)our tv is on little table in..the. corner of room. 8) there is .a.. beautiful picture in my father's study, .the.. picture is on the wall to ..the. left of ..the. window.
