i’m writing to describe my new school. it is located in 11 microdistrict in the vicinity of other high-schools. its building is not so old, i’d say, actually, it is pretty new comparing with the other schools in our neighborhood. it takes about 15 minutes to get to my school. that’s why its whereabouts is not so comfortable for me. however, this is the only drawback of my school.

my new class met me so cordially and pleasantly. all classmates are good clever guys. i’ve already made friends with two classmates. they appeared to be my neighbors as well.

the form-master is a highly-qualified educational specialist and also a kind woman who always helps her pupils if it’s necessary. she’s already become acquainted with my mother.

to be perfectly honest, i don’t regret about choosing this school.

there are some dates which are holidays in this country. the first holiday of the year begins with the new year day on the first of january. on the eve of the new year day, that is at night of the thirty first of december, we are usually at home with our family or with our friends near a new year tree is decorated with our bright and toys. at 12 o'clock we wish each other "happy new year! " we give presents to our friends and to all the family. children like this holiday very much, because their winter vacation begins with the new year day and last two weeks. they have a lot of fun then. they dance and sing round a new year tree with father frost and snow maiden. during the winter vacation children do not study, they can play hockey, skate, ski and others. the next holiday which is celebrated in russia is christmas. it takes places on the 7th of january. this religious holiday began to be marked only some years ago. we do not study on this day now. on the eight of march we celebrated one more holiday. it is international women's day. on this day we present our dear women, with flowers. this day is also a day off. victory day, the anniversary of the victory over fascist germany, comes on the ninth of may. millions of our people gave their lives for our country's freedom and independence. all the coun-tries which fought in the second world war against fascism celebrate this great holiday, victory day. my most favorite holiday is the new year day and christmas.

мой любимый вид спорта-это фигурное катание.я люблю этот вид спорта с детства.я люблю танцевать, возможно, поэтому оно мне нравится.фигурное катание-это сложный вид спорта.люди учатся этому спорту в течении пятнадцати лет, затем точно выходят на большой каток.фигурное катание требует больших затрат времени,время от человека.человек должен делать это каждый день в течении нескольких часов.этот вид спорта требует и материальных затрат, чтобы заниматься спортом нужно нанимать тренера за определённую сумму денег.занимаясь этим видом спорта,рискуете своим здоровьем.есть случаи,когда люди остаются нам всю жизнь.из фигуристов мне больше всего нравится ирина слуцкая.для меня это самая достойная фигуристка в россии.она обладает высокой стойкостью,умная,смелая женщина.не каждый может быть в большом спорте и добиться таких успехов, как она,особенно после таких слов тренера,которые могут легко оскорбить и унизить.увидев её, тренер сказал ей, что она не может быть в фигурном катании, вообще в спорте, что это не для неё.несмотря на всё, она была достойной фигуристкой в россии.
