My family prefers to have meals at home. i can cook very well and always help my mother in the kitchen. i can make vegetable and fruit salads, pies and pancakes with different tasty fillings. i like to get up early and help my mother with breakfast. for breakfast we usually have porridge, scrambled eggs, tea with sweet things. i also like to cook ukrainian borsch. my father enjoys it. my sister lays the table with a nice tablecloth, clean plates, spoons, forks and knives. we sit down at the table together. my father smiles and makes jokes on me and my cooking abilities. i don`t feel offended with him, because he has a good sense of humor. he likes to say that eating at a restaurant is a waste of time and money. i completely agree with him.
