thanks for your letter. i am study at school. we have  a very  good, kind  and  caring  teachers. they help to us. in our school we have a lot of sport sections. we have bascetball, football and  physical training, where we run and play sport games. around the school we have a stadium and a football field. in winter opened rink for us, where we  skate.  i have  been doing  athletics. every day i do to the stadium. running help me relax and forgot about my problems. in your letter you wrote that you will soon have bascetball match. where has match been? how did you prepare?   what will be the  prize  for winning the  match? i wish fictory for you. hope to hear from you soon.

different people like doing different things because their tastes differ. so people have different hobbies. “a hobby” is something that people usually do to get pleasure or to relax and to spend free time.

usually people choose as a hobby something that they really like doing. something for their character and their taste. you will never do something as a hobby if you don’t like it. if you have an interesting hobby your life becomes more interesting, of course.

most people chose something “to do” as a hobby - doing means something active from traveling to taking pictures, from table tennis to football. others choose something “to make”. making things includes knitting, sewing, handicrafts, painting, drawing.

“collecting things” is another popular pastime. people collect different things like books, toys, car models, plane models, coins, cd’s. there are more serious collectors of expensive paintings, rare things or art objects. such hobbies are for rich people. we can often see such private collections in museums, art galleries or libraries.

the nobel prizes are annual international awards bestowed by scandinavian committees in recognition of cultural and scientific advances. they were established by the swedish chemist alfred nobel, the inventor of  dynamite. the prizes in physics, chemistry, psychology or medicine, literature and peace efforts were first awarded in 1901. the sveriges riksbank prize in economic sciences in memory of nobel was instituted in 1968. although this is not technically a nobel prize, its announcements and presentations are made along with other prizes. each nobel prize is widely regarded as the most prestigious  award in its field. each laureate is presented with a gold medal, a diploma and a sum of money which depends on the nobel foundation’s income that year. the prize cannot be awarded posthumously ,  nor may a prize be shared among more than three  people.
