many –много

местоимение "many" употребляется с исчисляемыми существительными

например,

i have many english books(у меня много книг)there are many patients waiting for the doctor(есть много пациентов, ждущих врача)

to be afraid, to be tired, to be upset, to be hungry, to be successful, to be busy, to thirsty, to be scared, to be lucky, to be worred 

to think, to go, to sleep, to stay, to run, to want, to get, to sit, to keep, to see

usual (обычный) - unusual (необычный), differnt (различный)

possible(возможный) - impossible (невозможный)

independent (независимый) - dependent (зависимый)

known (известный) - unknown (неизвестный),  anonymous(неизвестный, безымянный)

pleasant (приятный)  - unpleasant (неприятный)
