The police (want) three men in connection with a robbery at a gas station. They (held up) a cashier and (threatened) him with a knife. While the criminals (were stealing) the money, one of the men (tied up) the cashier. They also (stole) some spare parts, but they (didn't take) the cashier's wallet. The robberts escaped in a green Renault car which police believe they (had used) in other robberies.
