At last holidays came! i was very happy!   i didn't have  to get up early in the morning and run to school. i could stay in the bed till midday. but i didn't want to sleep. there were a lot of things to do. the weather was fine so my friends and i went for a walk every day. it was fun! then i spent a month in the country where my grandfather and grandmother lived. it was great. i drank milk and ate a lot of tasty food which my granny prepared for me. i have many friends in this village because i go there every holidays. we played football and tennis every day! there is a small river near the forest and we swam when the weather was fine. it was greaat!   i liked my holidays very much.   наконец наступили  каникулы! я был счастлив!   я не должен был вставать рано утром и бежать в школу. я мог   оставаться в постели до полудня. но я не хотел спать. было так много дел. погода была хорошая, так что мои друзья и я ходили гулять каждый день. это было весело! затем я провел месяц в деревне, где   живут  мои дедушка и бабушка  . это было здорово. я пил молоко и ел много вкусной пищи, которую моя бабушка готовила для меня. у меня много друзей в этой деревне, потому что я езжу туда каждые каникулы. мы даже играли в футбол и теннис! около леса есть небольшая речка. мы купались, когда погода была хорошая. это было здорово!   мне понравились мои каникулы.

royal theatre in covent garden - theatre in london, since 1946 serving by a place of carrying out of opera and ballet performances, a house scene of the royal opera and royal ballet. it is located in area kovent-garden on which has received the name.the largest opera scene of great britain. it is based in 1732 by the visible english theatrical figure and actor dzh. first it was the drama theatre (at its opening u.kongriva's play «secular customs» has been given). «the true shepherd» handel (1734) was the first opera put on its scene. in 1847 kovent-garden becomes exclusively opera theatre (this event has been noted by statement of an opera of rossini of "semiramida"). the theatre building built up anew - after fires 1808 and 1856 twice.

we live in a large beautiful house.but there is one room which is very loved by all family. it is our living room.she is adopted so not by chance - exactly we host here, conduct family reunions and mark holidays. but not only a room is notable these. all our family likes to gather here, to talk, listen music, look television. in the middle rooms,, there are a large soft sofa and two deep arm-chairs. so pleasantly, taking a seat on a sofa, to have a drink the cup of fragrant tea with pastries and rolls, which always are in our house!

and when after a window coldly and rainy, i very like to settle down in an arm-chair, wrapped in warm plaid, and to read a favourite book or look an interesting film. our dad recently bought new columns to television, with them looking films is far better and interesting - as though in the cinema. this impression is from by volume стереозвука. so i already revised all cassettes which are in our house again. the impression is quite unforgettable!

wales is the land of rocks, mountains and valleys. there is a region in the high cumbrian mountains called snowdonia. its scenery is the pride of wales. snowdonia is named after the highest peak of these mountains — snowdon at 1,085 metres above sea level.the welsh people call their country cymru. the largest cities in the south of wales are cardiff, swansea and newport. the greatest concentration of people lives in these cities.  the largest town in the north of wales is wrexham.

the welsh language is spoken widely, especially in the north of the country. it is one of the celtic languages. it is still the first language for many people.

wales is often called "the land of song". the welsh people, especially in rural ares are fond of poetry, singing folk songs and playing the harp. there are a lot of choirs in wales. each of the major periods of history has left its mark on wales, some more attractive than the others. wales is "the land of castles". and the normans were the first to build castles here. wales is famous for eisteddfod. it is the largest and oldest festival of welsh culture, which is held every year in different areas of wales.

eisteddfod is actually an association of poets, writers, musicians, artists and individuals who have made a significant and distinguished contribution to the welsh language, literature, and culture.  the colour of their costumes — white, blue or green — is indicative of their various ranks.
