Ithink that my school is the best one. i love it very much. our teachers are kind and intelligent and my classmates are smart and friendly. but everybody has a dream. the dream about our new school - the school of the future. now i would like to tell you a few words about my ideal school. first of all if i were a headteacher of my school i would allowed everybody to have an opportunity to use one's phone. the second thing is our homework. so much of it! don't the teachers know that it is waste of time, our time and theirs. the next. our holidays. i would like to travel a lot. but when? our holidays must be a bit longer i think. and at last the equipment of our classrooms! what do we see? there are few computers which we can use. my dream is every classroom has ten and more new computers with internet. it's school of my dream.

теперь у нее  было своё  мнение, и  за ужином она  обсуждала  с сашинами родителями    трудную школьную   учёба  для  детей.но  в конце концов,  она чувствовала что  классическое образование  было лучше чем  коммерческие  курсы,потому что когда  вы окончите  школу, то  дорога к любой  карьере будет открыта  для вас.  если вы уже выбрали, вы могли бы  стать врачом,  или же,  если  хотите,  вы можете стать  инженером.саша  начал  учёбу  в школе.  когда его отец  был в отъезде,  каждый день  проверял  крупный рогатый скот,иногда  трех дней  в то время,оленьке казалось, что саша  был полностью  потерян,  как будто он был лишним, и возможно  умерают от голода.  таким образом она  переселила его  в свою  часть  дома и  устроила  для него  маленькую комнатку  .каждое утро  оленька  приходила  к нему в комнату  и видела его  крепко спящим,  подложив под  щеку подушку ,  так тихо, что  он, казалось,не  дышит.сашенька,    печально  сказала, вставай, дорогой.  нужно  идти в школу.

он  встал, оделся,  прочил  молитву, потом сел    завтракать.он был ещё сонным.ты не знаешь,басню хорошо,  сашенька,  сказала  оленьке, глядя на него, как будто  провожает в дальнюю дорогу

холодная в море вода,

как лёд она холодна.

я вообще не боюсь её здесь-

у меня тёплая и красивая шерсть!

education in great britain: schools

in britain it is compulsory for everyone between the ages of 5 and 16 years to receive some officially recognized form of schooling, though most secondary schools continue to provide education until the age of 18.

the vast majority of pupils attend state schools, which are absolutely free (including all text books and exercise books), but there are also about 500 private schools providing secondary education. the most famous of these schools are eton and harrow.

there is no statutory age at which students change from primary to secondary school, nor are schools "specialized" — pupils choose from the numerous subjects taught in their particular school.

the recently introduced national curriculum has made it compulsory, however, for three core subjects — english, mathematics, and science — and seven other foundation subjects — technology (including design), history, geography, music, art, physical education, and a modern foreign language — to be included in the curricula of all pupils.

passage from one academic year to the next is automatic. after a two-year course, usually from 14 to 16 years of age, most pupils take their general certificate of secondary education (gcse), assessed on the basis of a mixture of course work and a written examination, in individual subjects.

pupils obtaining at least five passes at gcse can then specialize for two years (usually from16 to 18 years of age) in two or three subjects, in which they take the general certificate of education advanced level (a-level) examination. this is used as an entrance qualification for university (minimum two passes) and other types of higher education, as well as for many forms of professional training.
