All state schools in russia   are free. children start going to school at 6 or 7. they study till 9th form. after 9th form pupils have to sit for examinations. they can go to the   10th grade of a general school or go to professional school. after school pupils go to colleges and universities.

1we  went  to the skating-rink  yesterday. 2 they  grew  even grapes in their orchard some years ago. 3  last week  they  hung  a new mirror in the bathroom. 4 we  had  a delicious dinner at a restaurant  last saturday. 5 she  laid  the table and invited her guests to have dinner. 6 they  heard  some strange sounds behind the door of the house. 7 tom  hid  behind the tree and  watched  the boys sitting by the fire. 8 the young archer  hit  the aim/target. 9 the students  held  a meeting on friday. 10  he  fell  down and  hurt  his leg. 11 their granny  kept  a cow and some rabbits on the farm. 12 she  knew  very well that  boy who lived next door to them.  13 he  knew  a lot of poems by heart. 

1. i exercise regularly in summer but more to do in winter. 2. she usually walks slowly but now she is walking even   faster . 3. nina speaks loudly but mary speaks even   louder . 4. he runs fast, than other boys. 5. i don’t sleep enough, less   than 8 hours. 6. he behaves badly, than other boys. 7. i smile often, more than my sister. 8. peter lives far from school, but ann lives closer .

я думаю, что  4 и в 6 предложениях ничего изменять не надо. может я ошибаюсь.
